Sarah-Jane Lewis
I am a specialist Speech and Language Therapist and Facial Therapist. I graduated from Newcastle University in 2005 with a 1st class degree honours (BSc Speech and Language Sciences). I worked in the NHS for 12 years, specialising in adults.
I was a Clinical Lead Therapist at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, working extensively with a range of communication and swallowing difficulties in adults, with a specialist interest in neurological conditions.
I was closely involved in the launch of the NHS Oxford Facial Palsy Service, acting as the Facial Therapist for the Region.
I have a particular interest in supporting people who have difficulty with their articulation (pronouncing words clearly), for example due to muscle weakness, injury or a lisp.
